The Weaver’s House Open Day   (The Weaver’s House)
Come and visit this little medieval gem which has been restored to its 1540 appearance, complete with full size replica loom and working garden. Refreshments are available on Open Days. FREE entry, donations appreciated. Find us just outside the Ring Road on Upper Spon Street.

Prior Deram Park, CV4 8FTCome and join a Malaysian Cultural Fayre, hosted by the Malaysian Coventry Society to celebrate the diversity of Coventry over food and cultural performance. There will be a variety of stalls selling Malaysian dishes. Attractions include: crafts, demonstrations of traditional games, costumes and music.

Wealth is Health   (The Albany Theatre)

Collective Encounters present Wealth is Health, by Sarah Thornton and directed by Amanda Redvers-Rowe. This is a 40-minute variety production, performed by Collective Encounters’ Third Age Acting Company. It was drawn from desk research into wealth and health inequalities in Britain, conversations between Collective Encounters’ facilitators and older people living in the community and in care homes, and rehearsed over 4 months. The production uses comedy, songs, music tableaux and naturalistic sketches to engage the audience in the debate around health and wealth inequalities.
