The next Literary Trail will take place on Friday 1st July 2016 at 10.30am

Walking this trail, you will discover some of the many connections over the centuries between central Coventry and some very famous writers. We start and finish at the statue of Lady Godiva in Broadgate (CV1 1NF).

Also if you are interested in attending one of the walks we are looking for volunteers to run a walk themselves in the future.  Training will be given.  Please discuss with Eleanor.

This Heritage Lottery funded booklet has been launched at an event on Friday 26th September 2014.  The Coventry Literary Trail has been researched and written by local  writer  Eleanor Nesbitt and has been developed from a Coventry Literary Trail piloted for the Positive Images Festival in 2013.
The Coventry Literary Trail provides  a fascinating tour  of the city centre,   linking local landmark buildings  and their associations with famous  writers and poets   Everyone, from  past literary greats,  such as George Eliot and Philip Larkin to  contemporary  figures such as Peter Ho Davies and Benjamin Zephaniah,  is  featured.  
The Coventry Literary Trail  is a free publication and will  be distributed to schools, libraries and community centres.
