Art Workshops
Workshops will be held in selected schools, Coventry Central Library (13 & 14 June 10.30am – 1.00pm) and with community groups to make recycled acorn depictions to produce a giant Acorn Collage, which will be sponsored and raise funds for the Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust. Acorn collage exhibitions will be held at Holy Trinity Church (13 May – mid December) and at the Central Library (September 2016 and January 2017). So far, the project has raised £2,000 for the Acorn Children’s Trust.

Faith Trail
Explore the religious history of Coventry from the Middle Ages to the present, visiting Christian, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh places of worship. Women need to bring a scarf and men need to use a head covering (provided by the entrance) in the Gurdwara.
Footwear that’s easy to slip on and off is advisable. Be prepared for some possible North Indian vegetarian hospitality.
Information is provided about each place of worship en route. We start from just outside (inside, if it’s wet) the West door of
Holy Trinity Church, Priory Row, Coventry CV1 5EX. And our walk includes Eagle Street and Harnall Lane West.
